Import/Export CARE Data
The Import/Export CARE Data utility allows users to export and import family, child, schedule and provider data.
To use the utility to export records:
- Open the Import/Export CARE Data Utility by going to Main Menu > Case Management > Import/Export CARE Data.
- Select the division for the data you want to export or leave the default selection of “All.”
- Select the program group for the data you want to export, or leave the default selection of “All.”
- Enter the date range for the data you want to export.
- Click the Export button.
- After the family and child data is successfully exported, you will get a confirmation message.
To use the utility to import records:
- Open the Import/Export CARE Data Utility by going to Main Menu > Case Management > Import/Export CARE Data.
- Click the Choose File button to browse for the location of the file you want to import.
- To include provider data in the import, click the "Import new providers and update existing provider information from import file" check box.
- Click the Import button.
- After the family and child data is successfully imported, you will get a confirmation message.
Note: You can ignore all of the filters in the “Export Criteria” section. They do not apply when using the import.
