Import E-List Data Utility

NoHo CARE Online User Guide

Import E-List Data Utility

The Import E-List Data Utility allows users to import family and child data from an E-List export file.

To use the Import E-List Data Utility:

  1. Open the E-List Data Utility by going to Main Menu > Case Management > Import E-List Data.

  2. Select the Division.

  3. Click the Choose File button to browse for the file that was exported from E-List.
When selecting a file to import, the file path used last will now be retained so that users can more easily import multiple records without having to navigate through the file system to find the files each time. The file path will only be retained as long as the Import E-List Data Utility is open.  The file path will not be saved once the form is closed.

  4. Select the format.
Select “NoHo” to import a Family/Child record that was exported from NoHo E-List.

  5. Click the Import button.

  6. After the family and child data is successfully imported, you will get a confirmation message with the Family and Child ID

Notes:

  • To export the family and child data, use the Export button on the Family Form in E-List

  • The export uses setup codes for Relationship, Native Language, Ethnicity, Special Needs, Income Source, Eligibility, and Need Status. Administrators should compare the setup codes for these fields in CARE and E-List to be sure that the same codes are being used in both databases.  Please use caution when changing setup codes because there are some standard setup codes that are required for system functionality in CARE and E-List.  If you have any questions, please contact our support team before changing your setup codes.
