RMR Exception Report

The Regional Market Rate Exception Report displays a list of rates exceeding the regional market rates (RMRs), allowing you to review RMR exceptions and ensure that the exceptions are intentional and/or justified. The report includes family, child, schedule, actual rate and the regional market rate.

Multiple RMRs can be entered in Regional Market Rates Setup Form. The RMR Exceptions report validates each schedule against the appropriate RMR table based on RMR effective date and schedule start/stop dates. 


This feature will only be used by agencies with Provider Payment Programs (APP, CalWORKs, etc). When this functionality is not needed, CARE Administrators can hide the page by setting View rights to "No" for all users.


The criteria form includes filters for division, specialist, and effective date.


How to View the RMR Exception Report:

  1. From the Reports Menu, select the RMR Exception Report. The report criteria form will be displayed.




  2. Enter any applicable filters.

  3. Make a selection for the Compare Rates To option. Choices include:

    1. Market Rate- rates entered on the schedule will be compared to the RMR with all applicable multipliers applied to the base RMR. 

    2. Base RMR- rates entered on the schedule will be compared to the base RMR with no multipliers applied.

  4. Click the Display Report button to view the report. You will have the option to print or save a copy to your computer.
