Compliance Task Setup Form
The Compliance Task Setup Form is used to maintain the compliance tasks options available for family, schedule and provider records in CARE. Compliance tasks are entered and maintained on the Family Form: Reminders Page, Schedule Form: Compliance Page, and Provider Form: Reminder/Compliance Page.
The compliance task functionality can be used to create more complex reminders and/or a “To Do List.” This feature is often used in preparation for an audit. Users will create a compliance task that includes a list of any compliance issues (missing signatures, outdated documentation, etc). As each item in the list is resolved, the user will mark it complete. Once all items in the list are marked complete, the system will set the status to "Complete" for the overall compliance task. There is a Compliance Report that can be used to report on this information.
The Family, Schedule, and Provider check boxes indicate which record type (Family, Provider, or Schedule) the compliance entry is available for.
A few common options are shown in the example above. Options may vary significantly by agency.
The following entries are required for proper system functionality. Descriptions for each entry may be adjusted slightly, but changes to the codes may cause system-wide issues. Additional entries may be added.
Code | Description |

CR | Certification Date Review Required |
Applicable Setup and System Options
- If the "Generate compliance task on certification date add or change" system option (on the General Page of System Options) is enabled, CARE will generate a new “Certification Date Review Required” compliance task when a family’s certification start or stop date is added or modified. The new compliance task will be assigned to the family’s primary specialist and the due date will be set to the current date. For proper functionality, CARE Administrators must create a "Certification Date Review Required" option with a setup code of “CR” in the Compliance Task Setup Form.
