Need Status Setup Form
The Need Status Setup Form is used to maintain the need status options available on the Family Form: Need Status Page.
Need Status options and codes are defined by CDE.
When the Inactive box is checked, the associated need status will not be available for selection when adding new need status entries on the Family Form: Need Status Page. Existing entries with the specified need status will not be affected. Also, all status options (active and inactive) will be available as filters on reports throughout CARE.
The following entries are required for proper system functionality. Descriptions for each entry may be adjusted slightly, but changes to the codes may cause system-wide issues. Adding additional entries could result in errors on state reports.

Q | Part Day California State Preschool Program |
R | CSPP No Need |
S | FRPM Qualified Resident |
