CD-9608B Report

Agencies are no longer required to track this information or generate the CD-9608 or CD-9608B Reports. However, the reports will remain in CARE for historical purposes since many agencies have information entered and may need to review the information entered. CARE Administrators can set View rights to "No" for users to hide this report.

The CD9608B Report can be used to generate the Annual Summary of Eleven and Twelve-Year-Old Children in Child Development Division Child Care Programs Report (CD-9608B). This report pulls information from the Child Form: CD9608 Page and includes information about eleven- and twelve-year-old children transferred to a before and after school program along with the total estimated savings. The report also includes information on children remaining in a subsidized child care program and the reason why they have not transferred to a before and after school program.

The report includes filters for division, specialist, start date, and stop date.

Additional Information

  • For proper functionality, a program group with the code "9608" must be included in the Program Group Setup Form. All CDE subsidy programs that are required to submit a CD-9608 report must be added to the program group in the Program Group/Program Setup Form.

  • Children will only be included in this report if they are enrolled in one of the programs that are included in the “9608” program group during the reporting period AND they are indicated as having a CD-9608/CD-9608S on file on the Child Form: CD9608 Page.

  • The start and stop Date filters will default to the current fiscal year as defined on the Calculation Page of System Options.

  • When the CD-9608 transfer date (entered on the Child Form: CD9608 Page) is before the start of the reporting period, it will start counting the number of months (for determining total savings) based on the report start date.

  • When the CD-9608 transfer date (entered on the Child Form: CD9608 Page) is on the first of the month, the calculation of savings will include that month.
